Hello, Academy goers! Rose Marie here, speaking on behalf of the headmod team.
We're currently looking for another mod to add to our crew, specifically for the position of Advertizing Mod. None of us have done a very good job with ads and enabling since the opening of the game, and we believe this is part of the reason things have slowed down so drastically. We need new blood, though neither headmod has the time nor the energy to devote to facing this issue head on. Hence why we're looking to add someone/a new position to our team!
What this position entails:
✨ Advertizing on App This Please and RPAnons every time a new post goes up
✨ Enabling/offering the game as a suggestion on those comms as well as ICly on Dear_mun and Dear_player with friendliness, politeness, understanding, and tact
✨ Enabling where you can on OOC communities, like Plurk, with friendliness, politeness, understanding, and tact
✨ Replurking Disney Academy mod plurks, such as app/reserve dates
Preferences
✨ MUST have plurk
✨ HTML/coding experience for ads; even simple ones without tables require being familiar with it
✨ Plenty of spare time to dedicate to going around on the communities, OOCly and ICly
✨ Ability to work on Pacific Standard Timezone times, even if you live in a different zone
✨ Previous modding experience can be helpful, but not mandatory
✨ You do NOT have to currently be a part of the game to apply
Note that this position deals solely with advertizement, promotions, and enabling. This position will not be a voice for the mod team overall, as it will not deal with reviewing applications, plot decisions, maintenance of the game, activity checks, damage control, and administration. However, we're sure this position will prove to be incredibly important to the lifespan of the game and hopefully the increased influx of new blood.
